Hello everybody,

I have a problem, with the configuration with boundary condition.

In the following domain :

i have, considering as in the manual at the point "(0;0)",
in the trigonometric sens : first UV H imposed(enter), second sliping wall, third H imposed (out...), then 4th at the top wall; then (on the left at the top) 5th UV H imposed (enter); then 6 th(on the left following and "under" the 5 th) UV H imposed (enter).

I don't manage to make understand to TELEMAC 2D; that I want the 5th boundary
to have the value 1.8 (which is big because of test).

It behave like it was 0 ??!!

Hello,

The keywords VITESSES IMPOSEES, etc. are relevant to liquid boundaries, so if you want to have a velocity of 1.8 on the third liquid boundary, you must have :

VITESSES IMPOSEES : value at boundary 1 ; value at boundary 2 ; 1.8

The corresponding points in the boundary conditions file must have a line that begins with :

5 5 5 (H, U, V imposed)

or

4 5 5 (H free, U and V imposed)

and it should work. However you give 3 VITESSES IMPOSEES and 4 COTES IMPOSEES, this is perhaps a mistake. There should be as many as liquid boundaries.

VITESSE IMPOSEES : values at boundary 1 0.075; values ...

Hi

All those aspects are well documented in the user manual...
Take the time to read it carrefully.

You could also use the Fudaa interface to manage automatically the values of the keywords at the boundaries.

generally, all the boundaries should appear in each keyword realted to boundaries, even the value is not use.
