Hello,

I am using Telemac2D to simulate the flow in a vertical slot fishway.
I used the k-epsilon model for turbulence closure.
However, when I compared the results given by Telemac with some velocity data from a scale model, there is a significant difference between them.
Then, I read in a paper that using a free slip condition (dV/dn=0) as the wall velocity boundary condition may help to improve my results.
How can I impose this condition?
I have tried to run my case with no bottom friction, but it seems like the akepin.f source is not provided without bottom friction.

Regards,

Hello
Sorry for this late reply,

By default, there is a perfect slip condition imposed at solid boundaries. To modify this condition, you need to change the keyword TURBULENCE MODEL FOR SOLID BOUNDARIES =2 (default value =1) and add the roughness coefficient at the boundary through the keyword ROUGHNESS COEFFICIENT OF BOUNDARIES (but this is not what you want to do)

With my best regards,

Riadh
