open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everyone,
I have got a problem, I try to run the Telemac2d but when i do so, i get the message(telemac2d is not recognized as an internal or external operable program or batch file) anyone can help? here is my tel.cas file also attached.

Hi Najib,

Maybe you input the wrong command line when you want to run telemac2d, if you use "telemac2d cas.txt(suppose this is the name of your steering file)", it didn't work, you can try another command line： runcode.py telemac -s cas.txt.

i tried that too, but i get the message as ( Not able to get the configuration file....) here is what i got.

It seems to be a problem of installation of telemac. You need to add your telemac path (I think for you is C:\opentelemac\V6P2\config) to the environment variables of your computer (write environment variables in "search programs and files" and windows will find it for you).

A more easy way is to use the new auto-install tool which does all the job for you.

I did that too, but still i get the same message, here is the configuration file and snapshot of my environment variables.

you need to add the path in the system variables and not only in user variables.

Actually I think that the problem can be that you have 2 folders for telemac: I see that you have a folder called c:\opentelemac and an other called c:\opentelemac-mascaret.
So verify which is the good one et remove the other.

i put the file path and SYSTELCFG in system variables too and it seems that it solved that problem, but now im having another one, it says the directory name is invaild,have a look at it.

It seems that the path you've given for the cfg file is not good. These files are in config and not in pytel.
Please follow the steps described in the installation rubrique and use the auto-installer, this will make it much more easier for you.

problem, i could compile most of the Telemac-Mascaret package but when it comes to HOMERE_TOMAWAC and dependents, the compilation stops and this message appears(


any clue for solving this problem?
