Hi Mathiew,

I tried with single bottom friction variable with different values still the results s not reasonable.

Hi,

I'm trying to do multiple bottom friction for the domain using the method given in "friction explanation.pdf". What I understand from the document and the example case study "donau" is; we have to create two set files (1) with node number and respective zone number (2) zone numbers with the friction law and coefficient.

And in the geo file, we have to include "bottom friction" variable with the appropriate zone numbers. In this case, I made multiple polygons with zone numbers and put it into interpolator and then map object with Bottom friction variable. If I save it as a separate file it gives x , y and the zone value but we need node number and the zone value!

How to make that file?

Do we have any other procedure to do this ?

Thanks in advance
