Hi

We can not check up your problem without looking at your files. However, you can verify at the listing output if the boundary conditions you want to prescribe are satisfied or not. Besides, verify the nature of your BC in the boundary conditions file.

With my best regards

here I enclosed the related geometry and boundary condition file FYI.
I tried many times, but with different liquid condition files, the result is the same. would you please help me to check the problem?

Hi
i revised my documents and attached it.
the geometry file can be downloaded by the link:
Link: This is a link
when I use the different liquid condition files, the results of simulation come to exactly the same.
and i want to simulate the gradual recession of flood waters, but i can't get it from my result. Would you please give me some advice on it?

Thank you very much!

Hi

We can unfortunately not download your geometry file since the link is not accessable from my office. However, hereafter some remarks about your other files. I recommend you to read carefully the user manual where everything is well explained.
- to prescribe a flowrate you need to use 5 4 4 condition and not 5 6 6 which is a condtion for prescribing a liquid boundary with given velocity (introduced in the cli file with ubor and vbor)
- to activate the liquid boundary file you have to give its real name: I see that you give the name qsl and not hb498fa4.txt
- it is recommended to use at least 5 nodes for a liquid boundary and in your case you use only 3 nodes.

I hope that this helps

Hi

A correction for precribing the flowrate, the code is not 5 4 4 but 4 5 5!

A remark for riadh, the file names are automaticaly changed on the forum so the name hb498fa4.txt comes probably from this particularity

Hi Riadh,

I have revised the documents.
you mentioned that in the boundary condition files I should use 455 instead of 566, but when I use 455, I can't even run the telemac.
because the command -initial condition="zero depth" should be used with the boundary condition 566-prescribed u, v and H.
and i used 5 nodes instead of 3.
now i can't even run the case with qsl.

Can you give me some other hints?

the result i want is that when there is no inflow there is no flood or inundation. when there is liquid boundaries file (inflow information), i can get the inundation result. and i want to get the decrease of the flood.

Nice Day!

MR
