What do you mean by altitude ? is it elevation? or bathymetry ?

For me altitude is elevation.

When I open my geometry file with BlueKenue and that I double-click on a node I get the node number, the x and y coordinates and a value expressed in M that I always supposed that it was the elevation and I thought that this would be this value that I would get in Telemac if I print ZF for this node. I am wrong ?

I mean elevation of the ground and not the free surface

It depends on which layer you are pointing within Blue Kenue. If you are talking about a layer called "BOTTOM" or "FOND" that is really the bathymetry (or topography) layer which will be described in Telemac by the variable ZF%R.

Furthermore, the only case where the bathymetry is changed during Telemac-2D simulation (No sisyphe coupled with it) is when the option "BOTTOM SMOOTHINGS" is activated (put not equal to zero). So, verify if this option is activated, and in that case, ZF will be changed compared to what was introduced in the geometry file.

With my best regards

No the option "BOTTOM SMOOTHINGS" is not activated.

I did the test once again with both options ubugfortrans and ubugfopenmpi and in both cases ZF%R(gtl_var) is equal to the elevation prescribed in the layer FOND visualized under BlueKenue so it's OK, I guess I made a mistake with the previous test.

Thank you Riad for your interest
