Hi, eyeryone,

When I read the telemac2d_u-mannual.pdf, I found that when OPTION FOR THE DIFFUSION OF VELOCITIES =1, it means selecting a computation with the form div(ν*grd(U)), I think it should be div(h*ν*grd(U)). Am I right?

Hello,

You are right. However the derivation of this term in shallow water equations is not very rigourous, and the dispersion (artificial diffusion to take into account the heterogeneity of velocities along the vertival) has to be added. Given the fact that the division by the depth introduces problems on dry zones, I prefer option 1.
