Please, I have a problem with a validation case V6p1 . I run all the simulation with V6p1.
All the cases are all right and there aren’t problems just for the 221-danau which the most important for me I find an error in the attached file.

Please can someone know where is the problem with this case spatially that telemac2D didn’t read the friction data file???
Hope I find a solution for this !!!

There were some modifications of the friction files and in the source code since version V6p1.
Please update your version in order to use v7p0 release.
We can not assist user for all old versions of Telemac, this is really cumbersome.

thank you for your suggestion, I changed the version , i used V7p0 and I run the case , I Didn't find a problem in the case validation danou of the new version , but when I run my case I find this problem in the attached file , which come from the fortran file,( friction user) because in the new version , there isn't the subroutine "friction user" , in my case I need to use to define the friction

For the first error, I think I should use the source file of the new version ( there is a modification of some parameters in the source file but I didn't find it when I installed the V7p0!!!

for the second error, I didn't understand the problem !!

as it is written in the listing your v7p0 version has the following path C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v7p0

for the fortran file, try to use the new subroutine GLOBAL_TO_LOCAL_POINT which has replaced the big array KNOGL in the bief_obj structure.

The second point is not an error, it is just a warning that advises you to put the negative power (-5) between parantheses.

Thank so much , I changed the subroutine friction user in the old version by the subroutine friction user of the new version, here I didn’t find a problem in the definition of parameters but I find a strange error, that , the model didn’t define the roughness parameter for all nodes
I verify the geometry file, it's ok , all nodes have a code number (in my case 1 or 2)
But why it didn’t read that for some nodes (from 512 to the end)!!!
In this attached file you find the error!

I can't answer without checking up the model, but this could be caused by a wrong definition of friction zones which are not couvering all the domain.

I have just a remark here I repeated my example (geometry and all files) and I do everything with the necessary changes to the V7p0 and I run the test with V7p0 but still the same problem. when I run the exemple with with V6p2 it works well !!! So the problem come from the version !!!!

Here I must uninstall V7p0 and install V6p2 (automatic installation) I hoped that installation of V6p2 will be easy as V7P0
