After looking again at the problem, it is most probably a bug that has been removed in version 7.1, I remember that one bug was reported by BAW and corrected.

I tried your case with version 7.1. For this I had to add at every line of your 6 zones the data on boundaries, namely NOFR 0. for setting no friction on boundaries (see What's new on telemac-2D version 7.1). So you are probably using a prior version. Then I did a restart file with a computation of 34000 time steps, then a computation continued of one time step, that did a reference file for the case "new". Then I took the old geometry file, no change, then I removed the data files on friction, no change. My colleagues at BAW also use this friction data files option and report no problem, except that it is a bit slower.

I would suggest that you use the option that works until the release of version 7.1 R1, then that you move to this version (it is ready and should be released very soon now, hum, Sebastien ?).
