HI everyone,

I need some help on the free surface elevation because i got some anomalies on my bathymetry. I explain my problem, I would like to have a free surface equal to zero on my entire domain at the initial time but for some reasons there is some positive peaks (until 12 meters at some places). Some are caused because i take off from my domain some island not necessary for my study and the others engender by the solid border. So i would like to smooth the Z-values with closest points by modifying the subroutine CORFON. It still an other problem, some closest points are also positive in depth, so the smoothing will not match in the way i would like to do it. I need advices, How i can modify the subroutine? or maybe it come from my parameter file and the numerical options?

The initial condition is well impose by telemac but there is an automatic conversion from free surface level to water depth and a truncation of water depth to positive or null values.
So in your result, as the free surface is the addition of the water depth to the bathymetry, you could have positive values where the water depth is null.
What you have is just a visualization effect!
If you filter the result to only positive water depth, this artifact will disappear.

and remove this keyword
SEUIL POUR LES PROFONDEURS NEGATIVES = 0.1

You should upgrade to latest version i.e. V7P1r1 otherwise we can not assist you anymore.
