Hi, could someone post the link for the dictionary on telemac2d?
also, my results keep getting no data results. it seems i don’t have any water running through the model, can somebody please post and example of some simple boundary conditions so i could have some idea of how it is done.

this is what my simulations puts out.

Hello,

The dictionary is in the Fortran sources folder: /sources/telemac2d/telemac2d.dico

You have a few time steps computed, so you should have results, if you set the period for graphic printouts at 1. There are certainly other things to change in your steering file, for example the solver EQUNOR is the "normal equation" linear system solver (solver 3), and we now prefer, depending on "TREATMENT OF THE LINEAR SYSTEM", conjugate gradient or GMRES. Seeing your steering file would thus be necessary.

With best regards,

Jean-Michel Hervouet

thank you for replying , i cant seem to find a good example or tutorial to create a decent boundary condition file. im currently doing the baxter example but when it comes to create the BC , i cant understand how he does it.
the problem whit no results comes from not having clear BC.

could you provide some example where this is used?

Grettings.

hi, this is what i have been able to do so far.

been able:
generate mesh.
create SLF file
create cas file

not been able:
properly set boundary an initial conditions

now it wont run , and this is the error i get.

i use the .liq as prescribed velocity in v and u conditions to upstream boundary conditions, but it doesn’t work.
