Dear Members;
I have a question about setting the inflow boundary conditions for bedload and suspended sediment load.
I am endeavoring to comprehend the usage of Telemac2d+GAIA for simulation using a straight channel with specific dimensions (Width: 10m, Length: 500m, Slope: 0.005). I want to prescribe equilibrium sediment discharge for both BED-LOAD and SUSPENDED LOAD at the inflow boundary of the test channel. In other words, I aim to conduct a simulation with no bottom elevation change at the inflow boundary condition.
In the GAIA steering file, the setting was configured as follows based on the manual;
/ Suspended Load (manual: p.13)
SUSPENSION FOR ALL SANDS = YES
EQUILIBRIUM INFLOW CONCENTRATION = YES
SUSPENSION TRANSPORT FORMULA FOR ALL SANDS = 3
/ Bedload (manual: p.29)
BED LOAD FOR ALL SANDS = YES
BED-LOAD TRANSPORT FORMULA FOR ALL SANDS = 1
In the inflow boundary condition section of the boundary condition file, the setting is configured as follows. Here is an excerpt from the boundary condition file;
4 5 5 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 5 0.0 0.0 0.0 1 511 # newBoundary (1 - 2511)
Then the following error occurs, and the calculation cannot proceed. How can I modify the setting?
Could you please provide guidance? Thank you very much in advance.
