Hello,

I noticed that the ratio between near-bed concentration (Czref) and depth-averaged concentration (Cav) results from an integration of a "power-law" concentration profile (in suspension_rouse.f). I have not managed to integrate a "real" Rouse profile over depth yet but if it is possible it would be better to use it for consistency with logarithmic velocity profile. I would also use it to find C(z).

If someone managed to find F=Czref/Cav by depth-integration of the Rouse profile, I will be very grateful.

Best regards.

Hello Alexis,

Please have a look at the enclosed document, I am not sure but it could be an answer to your question.

With best regards,

Hi Alexis,
take a look also to the subroutine "suspension_conv.f".
The test case Rouse (of Telemac-3d) can be also useful.

best,

Pablo

Hello....

I think you are refering to the famous Einstein's integral. They are tabulated in Sisyphe, but we decided to use an approximation for simplicity, since this does not make much difference.

Please find my notes on the Einstein's integral (in french I'm sorry)
