Hello, all of telemac user.
Nowdays, I simulate long and shallow water river.
but I have some trouble with boundary condition.

Question 1.
In conlit.f, there is 'qbor%adr(i)%p%r(k)'
and I use it to apply time-varying solid discharge.
but I wonder its unit is m2/s or m3/s.
It is difficult to me because there is no significant value of solid discharge in result file.

Question 2.
I can't understand exactly about Keyword EQUILIBRIUM INFLOW CONCENTRATION.
Should I check it 'yes' to get rid of evolution in inlet?
I don't want any scour in inlet boundary.

Question 3.
In spite of imposed solid discharge, I can't see any change at the whole domain after inlet. I think these values do not spread.
Is there any option to effect whole domain?

Thanks for reading, and hope any comment.
Regards.

Dear Noah,
thanks for your post. Please find below the answers to your questions.

>Question 1.

QBOR is the resulting (or total) solid discharge on the boundary, expressed in m3/s

>Question 2.
>I can't understand exactly about Keyword EQUILIBRIUM INFLOW CONCENTRATION.

EQUILIBRIUM INFLOW CONCENTRATION
Allows to impose the equilibrium concentration for a boundary at t=0 based on the Fredsoe formula for non-cohesive sediments. Be careful, this is associated to suspended sediments!

>Question 3.
>In spite of imposed solid discharge, I can't see any change at the whole >domain after inlet. I think these values do not spread.
>Is there any option to effect whole domain?

Strange...if you are imposing a sediment discharge which is not in equilibrium with your system, you should see some changements of your bathymetry.

I hope it helps,

Pablo
