Hi all,

I'm using TELEMAC2D coupled with TOMAWAC for wave-modelling, trunk version v7p1r1.
I was wondering if the user has the ability to indicate if he/she wants to have spectral output for dissipational processes individually. These processes are: whitecapping, wave-breaking, bottom friction..
I would like to see how much energy is dissipated by which process in numerous gridpoints. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,
Gert Weltens

Hello Gert,

I don't see any simple way to do what you want because all the right hand side is treated in the routine semimp and printing spectrum between each contributions would not be simple.

May be that instead i would make a simulation with dissipation and then another one without disspation. Then i would use the python script diff.py which computes the difference between 2 serafin results and put it in a new file.

Hope it helps

Thierry

I was hoping for something more convenient, but that is indeed an option.
Thank you for you suggestion.
