Dear all,

I am studying wave-current interactions. I would like to show some of results I got from this coupled model.

First, in terms of Hs, the model performs well where we can see an reasonable agreement between measured data and modelled results.

In terms of wave peak period, we know this could be very difficult to get a good agreement.

So I tried to compare mean periods instead of Tp to see if I could get better agreement. The first comparision below is taken from a coupling model:

and the second result below is taken from the wave model that I imposed a current file (from 3D model, run separately).

It shows me something different compared to the one from a coupled model.

Could someone help me guess what wrong with my model?

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards

Hello huy

Do you encounter that problem with the version of the trunk ?
There was a bug in previous version that has been fixed.

best regards

Thierry

Hi Thierry,

I am currently using V7p2 with some *.f file updated from my errors in previous posts.

Are there other bugs that fixed in trunk? I would give it a try tomorrow.

Could you please check if both TOMAWAC/TELEMAC3D are using the direction convention to read the current file?

Many thanks

Best Regards
Huy

Hello,

Are you using v7p2r2 (or svn branch v7p2)? If not you, must update your version.
