Dear all,I am trying to simulate a newshore simulation and want to use wave data as a binary file. However if I don't set Linear Wave growth=1 the model crashes. My domain isn't closed (e.g. lake) and setting Linear Wave growth =1 produces very large Wave heights.I am attaching the files I am currently using (I have used the littoral case as an example).Note that I recently used a large time step previously it was 10 secs

Thank you very much for your help,
Kind regards,
Andreas

Hello Andreas

I guess that you made an error while constructing your file r2d_wind_txy.slf the value of wind at time step 0 is more than 1000. So the calculation can't be correct (divide by 0) for stress from wind velocity

regards

thierry

That was indeed the case, I just figured it out,I had to set non zero values at the first time step and the problem was solved.

Thank you very much for your response,
Andreas
