Hello,

At the moment I'm setting up a TOMAWAC model at the coast of Iceland. The model is still very basic but it does not run in parallel mode. I assume that is has either infinite solutions or the split up processes come up with slightly different solutions.
What could be the issue?

Your boundary conditions file is wrong. BC2 file format is a BlueKenue format, you have to save it as *.cli file (conlim table file). Regards, Laurent

Leballeur OFFLINE openTELEMAC Guru Posts: 434 Thank you received: 163	This seems to be a MPI error.. Are you sure MPI is well installed on your computer? Did you try to run a test case first? 2 workarounds are suggested at then of the error message, did you test them? Regards, Laurent

Mustermann OFFLINE Expert Boarder Posts: 268 Thank you received: 4	Hej Laurent, I ran all test cases in parallel without any problems. The first suggestion work but I have to redo it always before I run the model another time. Maybe there is a more consistent workaround.

Maybe you can also test the 2nd and 3rd fix suggested here: github.com/firemodels/fds/issues/5853 but if it does not work, I will not be able to help you anymore, sorry. Laurent
