Hej there,

I am creating a model regarding sediment movement and therefore I like to couple TOMAWAC with TELEMAC. In my case it would be great if the currents would not influenced by each other, but I could not find an option for that in the manual. The only options I could find a influence in one direction or in both.

Is there another option so that the models does not interact with each other, but are still coupled.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Clemens,

I don't understand why you need to couple telemac and tomawac if you don't want to represent wave/current interactions ?
You can run each code separately and give the results to Sisyphe after.

Laurent

Hello Laurent,

Did not know that this would be possible. Is this somewhere described in the manual?
How could I hand Sisyphe the result files of TOMAWAC and TELEMAC. So far I just know the procedure how to run everything with TELEMAC as main.

Thanks
Clemens

It was previously described in v6.3 of sisyphe user manual, but not in the recent versions, because computational time now allows you to easily run the codes in a coupled way, that is most suited to well represent physical processes for sediment behaviour.

You can also have a look at the test cases of sisyphe: "foulness" and "sandpit".

Laurent
