open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello Community,

In the begaining of the simulation with system TELEMAC, i had the following problems for TOMAWAC:

the simulation run with a correct result in the end, but i don't understand why the computer block completly for 5 to 30 min when the simulation arrive at the step of allocation mesh.

Maybe it relate with a very finer mesh??

Or with the installation??

Or it's can relate to the use of 4processors wich is maybe not adequat for my computer even if that it have 4 processors?

I have many supposition for this, hope that someone can clear me for this topic.

Even if i have a correct result in the end, but it bothers me because i can not do anything at the same time, so I'm wasting a lot of time.

I would say that it might be a memory problem try to use less frequencies or less directions or a corser mesh to see if it is better. you have some array that are dimensioned NPOIN*NDIREC*NFREQ so if one is big you might have not enough memory. Other than that i do not see any reason.

Yes you right, i was done a simulation with a mesh of 150 m, so i had modified them to 200m, and now the simulation run with out blocking of the computer.
