In the manual, Phillips constant is said to equal 0.0081. In Tomawac_cata_auto.py (eficas dir) it defaults to 0.018.

What is the default value if I don't define PHILLIPS CONSTANT (INITIAL or BOUNDARY) in the steering file?

What set the default value is the dictionnary (tomawac.dico) and Tomawac_cata_auto.py is automatically built from the dictionnary so he is the one that own the truth.
I am in the documentation process now so it is the moment to correct the manual when we say that we use a phillip constant of 0.0081 it is only for the option of of limiting waves with strong current (see the routine limite.f) We use a phillip constant of 0.0081 only locally to set a special Spectrum.

So far the manual is consistent. What I don't understand is why the Phillips constant in the dictionary is taken by default as 0.018 and NOT 0.0081?

I just checked litterature and I understood that philips constant was not set to its good value in the dictionnary. I guess it has been the case for years because i have never payed attention on this constant. Hopefully now that reference is made automatically from the dictionnary you could see it. I just hope there weren't too many people using type 2 3 4 for the spectrum.

Never used any spectrum other than 6 or 7 myself. I just noticed it when looking at the dictionary for this constant instead of the literature. Then I read the manual and came across a different value. Lucky find...
