TOPIC: Wave varying in space and time

Wave varying in space and time 5 years 9 months ago #32702

Hello ,

I'am trying to launch a simulation with varying(Hs,fp,dir)) in time and space in tomawac. I have the variation of (hs ,fp,dir) in 2 points .

I managed to launch the simulation with variation of (Hs,fp,dir) during the time only in one point .It seems to work well.

I am trying now to integrate an other variation of (hs,dp,dir)(wavne) from the another boundary .

I had a look in manche case but i didn't manage to adapt it .

Please find attached the files that i m working with.

Thank you for ur help!

Hello

I think you should call speini after the set of HM0L FPICL and TETA1L because the way you do it i do not see how your spectrum would take into account the HM0L of your file.

Hope it helps

Hello Mr Fouquet ,

Thank you for ur answer . Actually .,i m beginner and just start to learn the basis in fortran. Could you please help me to adapt this file .

I have also a question about parallelism. Is it ok to run this simulation on parallel or should I call an other function?

Thank you very much for ur help.

Regards,
Mehdi

Hi

Same topic, i am too trying to vary the waves along the liquid boundary in time and space. I have modified the LIMWAC file, however it seems to be only taking the first entry of the waves.txt file into consideration. I have looked at a lot of examples and forum posts.. not sure where i am going wrong. Would be grateful if someone could have a look at the FORTRAN file and see if i have done something wrong.. I am guessing I am not looping through the values in the array.

Thanks.
