yesterday the mesh size was a function of the bathymettry (irregular grid). This one is regular.
how can you check that the node 43 is wrong ??

Hello,

No, the mesh 'geome' in your zip file is the same as yesterday, with the same problem of element 47, and Tomawac stops because of this element 47. This is why I suppose that you did not send your latest mesh, is there some misunderstanding, I took the zip file test3-20110324.zip you just posted ?

OK I can now do the computation. I see that all results are 0 as you say. This is certainly something to change in your parameter file. I'll warn my colleagues in charge of Tomawac and they will have a look at it.

My bathymetry was positive and I decided to try with the negative one, and it worked. Now I have an other problem. when I try to change the hs in the boundary condition, it doesn't change anything in the result file. it is the only parameter that change anything in it, consequently the hs in the boundary condition is always 2 m. How can I fix this problem to compare the propagation with different hs?

The bathymetry is the bottom elevation, not the depth, so if your free surface is 0, the bottom elevation should be negative.

I tested it with an other case and the result is the same : when I try to change the Hs in the steering file, nothing changes in the result. I try with a validation :

Hello,

If you want to modify the value of the boundary significant wave height, you have to choose an other type of boundary directional spectrum in your parameter file: TYPE DE SPECTRE DIRECTIONNEL AUX LIMITES =6, instead of TYPE DE SPECTRE DIRECTIONNEL AUX LIMITES =2.

Indeed, Hs is not one of the parameters of the boundary directional spectrum n°2 (see the summary table of the spectrum types in the documentation of TOMAWAC, p 61): you have to change the value of the boundary Phillips constant (CONSTANTE DE PHILLIPS AUX LIMITES) to modify the energy level.

It is the same for your initial condition.
