open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everyone,

I'll start by saying that I'm just getting started with TELEMAC. I have already used ARTEMIS and now I am starting to use TOMAWAC.
I'm trying to simulate a wave incoming from an edge of my domain propagating down an inclined plane, but the program almost immediately stops with an error. I used code 544 for the open edge where the waves should come in and 222 for the remaining edges.
I checked the bathymetry saved in the temporary results folder and it seems correct.
I attach the TOMAWAC error screen.
Can you tell me what the cause could be?

As indicate in the error message, there is a problem in memory allocation during initialisation.
As your mesh seems quite huge, maybe the memory ressources of your computer are not sufficient...
Are you wrote you're an artemis user, did you try to run a mesh used for artemis studies? Or did you build your mesh with the same kind of mesh size?

Thanks for the reply, for now I haven't tried meshes created for ARTEMIS. I'll try to reduce the mesh resolution and update you.

I tried reducing the mesh resolution. When I run the code it manages to complete the MEMORY ORGANIZATION phase by allocating the mesh but then it stops with a new error.
I also attach the cas, cli and slf files....
I'm sure I'm doing something grossly wrong but I don't know what...

Your file BC_270.cli mentions a node number 46582 (and over) but you have only 46122 nodes in your mesh. I guess that when you made your mesh coarser you forgot to take the .cli file that go with it.
