Hi everyone,

I'm trying to couple t3d with tomawac, but it reported an error, saying 3D COUPLING WITH TOMAWAC NOT IMPLEMENTEDIN SPHERICAL COORDINATES.

Doesn't tomawac support spherical coordinate when coupling with other modules?

What can I do to slove this problem?

Do I need to convert my files from spherical coordinate to Cartesian coordinates?

Hello,

The terms to take into account real 3D coupling are different in Cartesian and in spherical coordinates because they rely on derivative terms in space. They and have not been implemented in spherical coordinate. I guess that it is based on the fact that if you one is using telemac3D the domain of calculation might not be so big so spherical coordinate are not really necessary in such a case. So i guess the best is, as you said, to convert your domain in Cartesian coordinates.
