Hello,
If I understand well, you would like to estimate the effect of breaking waves in the longshore current and longshore sediment transport generation.
To do so, you should chain three different modules :
- TOMAWAC to simulate the wave propagation and breaking;
- TELEMAC to simulate the longshore current ;
- SISYPHE to simulate the sediment transport.
From the TOMAWAC simulations you can obtain the components along the X and Y axes of the radiation force due to waves (variable FX and FY).
By imposing those variables in the TELEMAC model you can simulate the wave-induced longshore current.
Eventually, the longshore current profile obtained via TELEMAC must be imposed in the SISYPHE model to calculate the sediment transport.
A case similar to the case you want to implement is available as test case in the SISYPHE training section, on the Telemac website. The case whom I refer to is the case "03.littoral": TOMAWAC, TELEMAC and SISYPHE are chained to simulate the impact of waves on longshore current and sediment transport.
Hope it helps.
Kind regards,
Giovanni
