Hi all,
I am new to this website and also new to Telemac software tools in general but I am trying to adapt it for doing some numerical modelling of wave current interaction. I have couple of questions as below and would appreciate your input or any useful suggestions in relation to it.

1- Does Telemac software support flow modelling analysis - if so, which package does support it.

2- Does Telemac software support quasi-stationary analysis?
3- Does Telemac support spectral wave modelling - both in full spectral formulation and directional paramaterized formulation for wave action balance equation?

I would appreciate your input on the above, thank you in advance.

Hello,

Very simply, I would say yes to all or your questions. Since your are starting with TELEMAC I would suggest you download some of the manuals to get a beeter idea of what does what. Very briefly though and to get you started, here is an extract of another page on this website:

•TELEMAC-2D: Two-dimensional flows - Saint-Venant equations (including transport of a diluted tracer)
•TELEMAC-3D: Three-dimensional flows - Navier-Stokes equations (including transport of active or passive tracers)
•ARTEMIS: Wave agitation in harbours
•TOMAWAC: Wave propagation in the coastal zone

We thank you for your interest in the TELEMAC system. Good luck in your studies.

Sébastien.
