I work in polar coordinate in TOMAWAC
I ask me about angles in the subroutine Liwac.
Where is the conversion of angle in TOMAWAC. Before, or after the subroutine?
In the Limwac subroutine, I read formatted data. the angle TETA1L is in degree or radian? In marine convention, ou in trigonmetric convention?
I do many tests, but I am not satisfied of my résults.
Can you help me about this?
Best regards
Matthias

Hello,
The conversion of angle (from degrees to radians) is carried out at the very beginning of the simulation, by the subroutine LECDON_TOMAWAC. In LIMWAC, TETA1L is already expressed in radians.
In the steering file, angles must be provided in degrees.
The angle indicates the propagation direction. The angles are indicated clockwise with respect to the Y axis (North direction).
Kind regards,
Giovanni
