Hello

I am trying to include a wind file in my Tomawac simulation, which I am trying to interplolate in time but not in space uisng the noudon and venuti subroutines. However I get the error

The type of the actual argument differs from the type of the dummy argument. [F11]
& F11,F21,F12,F22)

where

!| F11 |<->| DATA VALUES AT TIME TV1 IN THE DATA FILE FOR F1
!| F12 |<->| DATA VALUES AT TIME TV2 IN THE DATA FILE FOR F1
!| F21 |<->| DATA VALUES AT TIME TV1 IN THE DATA FILE FOR F2
!| F22 |<->| DATA VALUES AT TIME TV2 IN THE DATA FILE FOR F2

My steering file contains

WINDS FILE FORMAT = 4
FORMATTED WINDS FILE = './wind_data/wind.prn'

Is this a problem with the format of my wind data file?

Thanks

Hello,

Reading your message it is difficult to say where the problem comes from.
Have you tried to debug your fortran, to detect where the error comes from (i.e. a wrong format of the data - not a double precision, a missing key word - CONSIDERATION OF A WIND, ...)?

If it does not work, please, send me your steering file.
Regards,

Giovanni

Hello, thanks for your response. I have debugged my code and fixed the format of my wind file. It is now reading the data.

Thanks

Oliver
