I just started working with TOMAWAC 1 month ago. I created a simple model with this characteristics:
"(126000m in the east direction and 39000m in the north direction) and impose a Jonswap spectrum with a significant wave height Hs of 3m on the northern boundary and a peak period of 8 seconds. The waves travel towards south. For the bathymetry you can take a simple slope where the depth at the northern boundary is 25 m and 0 m at the southern boundary. The calculation mesh you create should have a resolution of approximately 1000 m."
Now I am supposed to input REFRACTION on it. How can I do it?
Thank you in advance!

Thank you for your request, but Tomawac just includes diffraction automatically.
I've been looking for it very hard but I couldn't find anything about it.
does anybody have any more information please?
Thank you in advance!

Refraction is due to the fact that the celerity of waves varies with depth, so as we reproduce the movement of waves due to this celerity, we naturally get this phenomenon, it is not a specific source term to be added in the wave action equation, it is included in the advection terms in the equation, with its various velocities.
