Is it possible to have wave driven currents that varying with time as input to Telemac 3d? - I can only make it work with constant wave driven currents (I have tried both input whith WAVE DRIVEN CURRENTS and by direct coupling with Tomawac and in both cases only constant waves seem to work.) Do anyone have a fortran-file that can solve this problem? Or can the direct coupling also handle varying waves?

Thanks in advance!

Hello

I am not sure to understand your question, but if so, you can specify a current varrying in time by the key words
BINARY CURRENTS FILE/FICHIER DES COURANTS BINAIRE = 'current.slf'
FORMATTED CURRENTS FILE/FORMAT DU FICHIER DES COURANTS = 3

where current.slf is a selafin format file, that can vary in time for example the result of a calculation by telemac.

hope it helps

Thanks for the answer! But I mean the other way - I want to have varying wave driven currents from Tomawac and put them into Telemac. We (me and SEBJAM) got a coupled version to work but it is really slow! (Maybe I should have put this question under Telemac 3D instead of Tomawac.)
