open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi there!

I am running a coupled Tomawac/Telemac3D simulation on a computer with 24 processors. However it stops the computation after a while when I use more than 4 parallel processors. How can I fix this to use the full capacity of the computer?

(Nothing is wrong with the rest of the setup since it runs with 4 processors, and starts the calculations with more processors).

Hi,

To analyze you may have to answer some questions as listed below.

1) Have you run any example case successfully from the Telemac example folder, with more that 4 processor (Even in Coupled Telemac3D/Tomawac mode)? If they are running properly then we can probably ascertain that the setup is proper.

2) Did you face the problems with the example cases as with the current case?

3) In the coupled Tomawac/Telemac3D simulation are you using any customized FORTRAN function for the particular case.
