open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi everybody

I have a domain in spherical coordinates (the north sea) and i want to run telemac-tomawac online on this domain.





the problem is what i get out of online coupling is very different than what i get out of offline coupling. (I know there is wave force included in online and not in offline but that should not be in this order of magnitude)

thus:
case 1:
offline coupling
folder 14



reading telemac results from folder 10




this gives me reasonable results. or what i assume correct.


case 2:
online coupling
folder 11



this run goes unstable.

but i have noticed that when i use online coupling i have to transform tomawac grid from spherical to mercator. question 1 :Is this true?

based on this i have the case 3:
online coupling
while tomawac is running in mercator (spherical coordinates = no)
folder 12



this run gives different results from case 1
stable but with strange values at some points.

i hope i managed to explain this clearly.
