open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi ,

I am very new to the telemac system and would like to seek advise from the group here on how to install / compile the telemac system after checking out from the svn repo. Is there any links to pages / articles that describe manual all the necessary manual compilations?

I have tried wiki.opentelemac.org/doku.php?id=instruc...tomatic_installation
to no avail...basically i go for 'compileTELEMAC.py' and nothing happens...

Nothing happens seems a bit weird, and since you didn't describe the installation process you followed, it is hard to tell what the problem is.

And an error message isn't nothing. Are you sure there aren't any?

I attempted manual installation of prerequisites , and tried to compile via the compileTELEMAC.py. After a bit more reading, I realize how naive that was; my apologies. Jose's link below generically solves it for me. Also my apologies for being so vague..Will structure my questions here better in the future.

You should be more specific about the problem you have.
