If you didn't have a proxy, is it possible your computer had a firewall? Such program could block the internet access... regards

Hello,

I start with TELEMAC-Mascaret and try to install on my computer.
I followed the installation guide for Windows10 José Andrés Morales and arrives at the last compilation step (compileTELEMAC.py).
However at the end I get the following error message: "The following command failed for the reason above
ar vintage: c: \ opentelemac-mascaret \ v7p2r1 \ builds \ win7gfors \ lib \ tymbol \ homere_mascaret.lib * .o: "

What is the reason ? and where should we intervene to reach the end of the compilation?

c.coulet OFFLINE Moderator Posts: 3722 Thank you received: 1031	This problem as been already discussed here We don't found a solution to this problem yet. The temporary solution is to remove mascaret from the list of module you should compile. Just enter system -mascaret in the cfg file Regards

Hello,

today I tried to install TELEMAC on my computer running Win10. I did not had much problems downloading the software, but the compilation, does not succeed.

I followed José Andrés Morales installation guide and changed the Systel files according to my system (attached).

For the scalar version I get the following error:

Dear Clemens,

Find attached the systel (configuration) files for:
1. Scalar Installation
2. Parallel Installation

Take into account for:
1. Scalar Installation: the systel file is made for v7p2r1, so, you'll have to adapt it to the version you want to install to (editing it could be necessary).
2. Parallel Installation: the systel file is made for v7p3r1, so, you'll have to adapt it to the version you want to install to (editing it could be necessary).

Let me know how the installations go.
