open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I'm very new to Telemac and would like to install it on Win10, since I already failed on MacOS.
The automatic installer always crashed when it tries to install MPICH and I could not find anything in the forum about it.

Now I started to install it the manual way, but I'm stuck at the config file. I tried to follow this instructions and used the "systel.cis-windows.cfg" from the SVN repository. A lot of configurations are not present in the .cfg file (like "root:", "version:", "modules:", "options:") so I do not know what to do next.
I also asking myself it makes difference that I used the Microsoft MPI instead of MPICH, since there is no recent version of MPICH.

It would be great if there is a step-by-step guide how to install TELEMAC in parallel mode on WIN10.

Could you post the error log, screenshot or anything that identifies the issues that you had using the automatic installer? MPICH Installation issues aren't really common on Win platforms, so it seems to be something else...

sorry I can not post the a screenshot since I forgot to make one. I started the manual installation and I guess the problem is related to .NET framework, since I just had the 4.5 version installed. Now I installed version 2.X and I could run the MPICH installation, but it is not possible to validate it.

We have been working on adding the parallel installation procedure into the installation guide that is in many post on this forum.
Find the manual last version in this link. The parallel configuration file and other steps for its installation were added.
I have not tried the parallel installation yet, so please, let us know how it goes and if you have any suggestions would be appreciated.

On other hand, if any of the users who have experience with the parallel installation can make suggestions about the installation guide would be EXCELLENT.

I followed the step-by-step instructions of Jose Andres for installation, but I am not able to connect to server. Server is not down, because I see the file in web browser. What could be the reason for that problem?

Are you using a proxy to connect to internet?

I am using TortoiseSVN, option SVN checkout, connecting to
svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/tags/v7p2r0/

This is not my question!
Are you behind a proxy for your internet access (often the case in a professional IT infrastructure)
If so, you should configure Tortoise in the right way (settings/network)

I asked our administrator and we are not behind a proxy.

I just tested on my computer and the checkout worked without any problem...
You could try with another tagged version to test but I'm quite sure there is a network problem on your side
