open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

I tried to install Telemac on windows 7 using the auto-installer.
I installed first v7p2, during compiling it gave me an error, which I solved by following the steps explained on the website to add the configuration file.
Then I tried to compile v7p3, it gave me the following error:
could not find the following module: 'dredges.im'

Anybody has an idea to fix this problem?

Hello,

To my understanding in the current version of telemac, Dredgsim was replaced by "Nestor" so that's why it doesn't find any module called that way. Also there is a need to update some minor options in "cmd_xxx" instructions to get a successful compilation.

I haven't used windows version in a really long time so I manually updated the cfg file from v7p1 to get it done. If you want to try it just replace the file under the path below with the attached file. Make a backup first.

Then launch telemac's parallel cmd window using the shortcut created in the desktop and execute:

P.S: This should update the failed build of telemac and hopefully get you a working compilation, although without nestor or mascaret. I don't need those modules and also have an older and incompatible version of gfortran.

Thanks for the advice. I've tried to re-compile it using the file you suggested, but still I'm getting the same result.

Your systel.cfg file must contain the following line:
modules: system -dredgesim

Did you used the one given by jose ?
Because uit should work with it.

Yes I did use it. However, I just noticed that Jose's file is for the parallel. I'm not using the parallel, but I modified the systel_v7p3.cfg, and the compilation started fine now.

you should modify the block named win7gfors in which you should remove -dredgesim otherwise it doesn't change anything...

there is no -cpp in the joined file!
