Hi everybody,

We are trying to develop a procedure for the parallel installation.
In order to do so, we are trying to generate a systel file to get it (considering we already developed the scalar installation procedure and the difference is basically the configuration file).

We have had several issues, one of those is an error we got from the compilation and We would like to have opinions regarding this error and the configuration file we are using to compile it.

Any suggestions and corrections will be useful, so, do not hesitate in make them.

Find attached the systel file and the listing output.

If anybody wants to help to it, please contact me by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Thanks in advance guys!

Best Regards,
José Andrés.

Hi,

The issue is that the link to metis and mpi should be in libs_all.
Same thing with the include that should be in incs_all.

You can find a guide on how to install on Linux here:

Hello

José did not explain it explicitly, but I guess the probem mentioned in this post deals about installation on Windows?

Hi
On windows or on linux, the solution still the same.
The file libmetis.a is needed by some other module like splitsel.
If your configuration indicate just "libs_partel" this mean splitsel couldn't see this library
That's why you should have libs_all and this will works
