open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi there everyone,

I've been trying to install Telemac for a couple days and have been facing the same problem over and over again.

The error seems to be in the installation of Telemac, the pre-requisites apparently work flawless.

During the installation, precisely when the second python script runs, I get a black screen code. It stays like this for a while and then closes itself (Attachement: python_blank).

Afterwards I get two messages saying stating that the installation failed ( Attachment error_1 and error_2).


I followed the instructions to end the installation manually and I wasn't able to establish a connection to the SVN repository.( Attachment: error_svn).

Additionally, I tried to ping to the repository and the website couldn't be found, i am not quite sure, however, if i performed it correctly ( Attachment: error_ping).

Can someone shed some light on this?

Are you behind a proxy internet?
If yes you should first update the svn settings to allow it to run well

Thanks for your reply.

I already took a look at it and I am almost sure we are not behind a proxy. I've been using SVN to get files from other places and it works well.

I also turned off my Antivirus Firewall.

On monday I'll ask the responsible person, just to make sure.
But I believe the problem must be something else.

I just checked and the repository works well so the problem is on your side...
Rather than using svn from the cmd windows you could also try to use the windows version.
Just go into the telemac-mascaret directory, right-click and check-out
you could then enter the repository, the login and the password.

I managed to install Telemac on my personal computer without any problem.

There is indeed something blocking the connection to the SVN server at my workplace. I'll take a look and solve it.
