open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi Everyone
I'm a new Telemac user, i tried to install the v8p0 on a windows 10, but i got an issue while compiling the program. i followed this installation guide below:

I tried some of the solutions listed here on the forum but it doesn't work. i attached some pics so you can see the problem.

I'm trying to compile telemac trunk version on W10 with python3. It gives me this error.




When I compile using python 2.7 it works.

Any advice on how to compile it with p3?

Unfortunately I don't have access to any machine with a similar configuration to be able to test this.

Your problem seems to come from the python installation. Check that python3 is properly installed. Check your environmental variables as well.

When opening a cmd prompt, the command line "python3" should launch python.

I have python3 installed as part of anaconda distribution. I will check what will happen if I install python3 from different source.

Hello Mohammed,
This error occurs when environments between python 27 and python3 installations get mixed up. I know how this can be sorted out with WinPython, but not with Anaconda. It has something to do with the Registry and not just PATHs. Consult with your python distribution.
