I solved the path problem reinstalling Python 3.8.3 and selecting the following options: 1- install Python Launcher for all users, 2- add Python 3.8 to path, 3- remove the MAX_PATH Limitation to 260 characters. With these modifications, compile_telemac.py runs without invoking python -i and without using %PATH% instead of !PATH!.

Hello. I am also a beginner and got the same problem when I want to compile telemac (...ImportError: No module named request). I don_t know how to solve the problem with the urllib? I downloaded the latest version for python 3.8.3.

More or less. I could compile it an got the message "my work is done" but some features still don't work.
I found a video on YouTube, where a guy shows how to install TELEMAC properly. I have not tried it yet but here is the link.

You can also have my systel-file but I don't know if it will help. I hope I could help you.
