open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi, everyone! I have an old question to ask you. I came across the information “user credentials needed to launch processes”, when I ran an example of telemac2d on win7. I checked the previous posts and found a solution. But, new problem has arisen. According to the post, it is an problem with the parallel version with mpiexec, which requires computer’s username and password to be registered on utility wmpiregister.exe. when I followed this instruction, an error “Error: no executable specified. Unable to parse the mpiexec command arguments” occurred.
How can I solve this problem? Thank you very much!

The error 2 just indicate there is no program given in the command line...
IF you followed the instruction of the previous post, what is the result of the wmpiregister command?

Thank you for your reply. Account is dell-PC. When I filled in Account and password in wmpiregister and click register, the result showed “Password encrypted into the Registry.” However, when I type “mpiexec.exe –validate” on the command line, it showed “Unknown option: -validate”. When I ran a 2d example, an error occurred in the below screenshot.

Which version of MPICH did you installed?

Thank you for your reply.
Its version is “mpich2-1.4.1p1-win-x86-64.msi”. It was installed automatically when I installed “opentelemacmascaret-5.2-windows-installer.exe”.

Is it possible you have different mpi instalaltion on your computer (for example with intel compiler?)
Try to move to the opentelemac\mpich2\bin directory and execute mpiexec at this place...

Thank you for your reply.
There may be such a case as you mentioned. I have checked my computer and found some software with MPIexe. I’m afraid of confusing the execution of other software and not following your method. I installed TELEMAC-MASCARET on linux, and it works for any example.
