Hi community,

I am trying to upgrade to the latest version (v8p3), so after successful compilation of source code, when trying to run any case I get the error attached (not being able to find geometry file, boundary conditions..etc) I would appreciate some help in this matter..

Cheers,
N.Z

Hi Christophe,

Thank you for your quick response. I started at C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p3\scripts\python3>

then typed in the command "python telemac2d.py ..\..\examples\telemac2d\malpasset\t2d_malpasset-fine.cas", which is how I have always run it, but I still get the error attached when running malpasset for example.

Cheers,
Nayef

Try to start from examples\telemac2d\malpasset with the appropriate command which should be something like
python ..\..\..\scripts\python3\telemac2d.py t2d_malpasset-fine.cas

copy the entire log if it fails

Hi Christophe,

It works now fine, command syntax is different from how I used to implement it in older versions (python27) but glad it didn't turn out to be a deeper problem, thanks again.

Hi chunshengLiu,

Considering TELEMAC has been installed and compiled appropriately, I use the following command lines -attached as an image- depending on what version I am using. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Nayef

P. S. Change tomawac.py to telemac2d.py or telemac3d.py..etc depending on what module you're using.
