Hello,

I tried to use the automatic mode to install Telemac but prequesites didn't work. Attached a screen play of my error.
If you can help that's great. Otherwise I will test manual installation (or give up for now)

run the mpich exe install program manually as the automatic run failed.
Probably a problem of admin rights...

It worked. I had to install Framework or something like that.

I have again a problem and I am running of ideas.
I tried to install Telemac with Cygwin but it did'nt work. I'l thinking because I have space in my Path (Program Files).
I went back to Windows and have same kind of problem I guess.

First I did as it is said in here : wiki.opentelemac.org/doku.php?id=instruc...tomatic_installation
and use snv repositery. I install v8p2 I think.

Then I use the git version (info from forum) so I'm think I have v8p3 but I don't know how to know !

Anyway, when I make compileTELEMAC.py it doesn't work : "'compileTELEMAC.py' n’est pas reconnu en tant que commande interne ou externe, un programme exécutable ou un fichier de commandes."

I tried to modify SYSTELCFG and PATH directly in 'Variables d'environnement' (as we were doing 1 years ago last time I had to install and use Telemac) but it is still not working.

Any ideas how to continue ?
Thanks for your help

PS : I'm administrator on my computer.

OK, sorry I fixed thoses problems. (I wanted to delete my post since it was a dummy problem but I can't anymore ?)

New one :
Warning: C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p3\sources\utils\parallel\interface_parallel.f:56: Illegal preprocessor directive
Error: Unexpected CALL statement in MODULE at (1)

When I did the automatic installation, I've seen that it was installing two cmd windows on my desk, one for parallel installation.

So I'm guessing my problem comes from the fact the systel.cfg I am using in not the good one or something like this.

Which lead to my question of the day : how do I know, how do I get the good systel.cfg ? or how I do understand how to correctly settle it ? any documentation to read ?
(It is not important for me to have a parallel version at the moment, I' just trying to reclaim Telemac at the moment.)
(I'm on Window 10)

Thanks for yours answers.

Once again, I finally made it to install opentelemac without the parallel version.
I can read there are lots of posts to solve it (or not !) when I want to use the parallel version. I'll try that later.

Also I have to type the whole command
"python c:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p3\scripts\python3\telemac2d.py t2d_gouttedo.cas"
to make it work whereas I'm working in a cmd windows with target pointing toward "C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /E:ON /V:ON /K set SYSTELCFG=C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p3\configs\systel_v8p3.cfg && PATH=C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p3\scripts\python3;!PATH!"

And I don't know which version I'm using since I got it from git command.

But it is working, I can start from here.

Sorry for all the useless post.
