Hi to all,
I work with Telemac on Linux.
About 1 year ago I tried to install it on Windows, but it didn't work. 6 month later I tried again with a newer version (8) but it didn't work either.
As I'm almost a quiche in system informatics, I did'nt investigate further...
Today my computer had no disk space left. So I uninstalled Telemac, and then erased its directory (> 4 Go).
I Could not erase 1 file named smpd.exe, because it was running on my computer...
Anybody knows about this file ?

c.coulet OFFLINE Moderator Posts: 3722 Thank you received: 1031	Hi This is the process manager for MPI parallel computation. You should probably stop this process first... By the way, you should also probably uninstall MPICH which will achieve this task automatically. Hope this helps
