open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am having difficulty getting the Telemac software to run in parallell processing mode on my Quad Core computer which has windows vista operating system. I have installed MPICH2 and when Telemac is trying to run the analysis I get to creating the output temporary files and I get the following message

MPI launcher : mpiexec -localonly -n 4 out6116_win.exe

A windows message comes back informing me that the MPICH.DLL cannot be located

Has anybody else encountered this problem?

I never encountered such problem but it looks like a conflict between the 2 version of MPICH (1 and 2).

As I know, all the dll of MPICH2 have their name beginning with mpich2***.dll.
On my computer, I found mpich.dll in the windows\system32 directory but I have both version installed ...

Maybe you could try to install in addition of MPICH2 an old version of MPICH1 (if you don't have already it) but I think you will encounter another problem during execution.

Thanks, I found when I upgraded from an earlier version of V5P9 to the most recent version it worked, not sure why but that seemed to be the solution
