I am also struck with similar issue of Crt64.lib error. Iam using Intel visual fortran composer XE 2011 for W7 64 parallel installation. Any further guidance/suggestions on how you could manage to overcome this problem. Thanks in advance

Try after copying crt64.lib in the destination directory (name of configuration in python)

I am using pthon scripts.No where in config or installation mentioned about crt64.lib path. Is it that I am using latest compiler and having these problems?/ or required to do this

I am not able to locate this crt64.lib, I could see Cyamin taking this lib from prcompiled sources.How to get this

The new 2011 intel fortran has its own setups for MPI installations I believe. Anyone had installed with the latest ifort.

Any help from you or others greatly appreciated.

If I recall correctly, in order to find the precompiled Crt64.lib you have to install the precompiled version available in the website and locate the file within the directories. However, finding the file alone will not solve your problems. I had I good try making it work but my limited knowledge of python didn't help and I gave up. I now rely on the 32bit scalar version.

I also recall that I had a big problem with the Intel MPI libraries. The compiler was using the Intel libraries and I was using the MPICH2 executable to run it, which of course gave errors. You HAVE to change the paths so that they don't mix up. It has been some time and I can't recall the exact steps I followed to resolve the conflict.

can u just help me instal 32bit v6p1 on winxp system. after installing perl correctly then this seup file when clicked instals in a scalar mode but i still get error 'windows can not locate telemac2d.bat'.do i need to change any file after that anywhere?? I am confused what to do? can you advise how to instal scalar mode v6p1 for my system.thanks

I have never used the perl version of telemac. Since I am a new telemac user and had no experience with either of them (pear or python), I took the advice and sticked with the python script language that is said to be preferred in the future. If you are a new user as well, I would advise you to switch to python, unless you absolutely need parallel processing, in which case I believe it is easier with perl.

thank you very much for your quick response.I am ready to switch over to python, no problem.I also tried that way but could not succeed. Could you please elaborate step wise how to instal it through python right from downloading the scalar mode 32bit v6p1 and python installed. What next? I mean what more softwares or procedures needed to get it installed properly.thanks again.

Thanks for the clarification.

Is it possible for you to send the crt64.lib as attachemnet. I f I load this precompiled version, I may get lost in confusion.
If you can send I will just copy it and see what rest of the messages it would give. As you said there are issues with MPI executables. The names also have changed in the MPI files.

I am also looking forward for suggestions from the moderators.
