open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I have never use telemac system and I would like to use TELEMAC 2D.
I don't understand if I can install it easyly on a windows system : for example with a executable installation file ??

Hello,

Actually it would be better to have a compiler installed because when you want something specific for a case, you may program it. Many test cases have also specific programming (the file caeed FORTRAN FILE), so you would be very limited with only an executable.

So I am afraid that you will have to follow the instructions and try to install the whole stuff, it is not so complicated when it works, and you have already a lot of questions regarding installation answered on this forum.

To install TELEMAC, please read (in the Home section then Installation section):

Users are now advised to use Python scripts, particularly to install the software:

Otherwise, you can find the user manual in the Home section then Manuals section, then TELEMAC-2D:

in French or in English. The documentation for version 6.2 is to be updated soon.

And do not forget to read the forum where you can learn a lot to install TELEMAC!
