open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

hi. I tryed to install TELEMAC 2D on my pc. The OS is Windows Vista. I intalled Telemac on C:\TELEMAC. I searched the program application inside that directory and i clicked on the icon but a little window appears onlu for a fraction of second and the program doesn't start. Please could you help me?

Yes, you can run Telemac-2d by using a dos command in a Windows where your data are :

telemac2d name_of_parameter_file

You can try this with an example provided in folders test.gb (English) or test.fr (French).

In this way you need aninterface only to look at the results.

I don't have any test.gb.

You could download all the test case with the appropriate files on the web site (on the training folder)

On the Dos command I must write:

telemac2d test.gb

It's wright ?

No
Test.gb is a folder with some examples
Choose one of these example;
In each example, you will find a steering file (often it's cas.txt file or something similar)
Then you launch in a Dos Command "telemac2d cas.txt"
