Apparently even though that I had a successful installation of the program, the folders in the start menu of the program are empty.
Is a different way to open the program ?
Thank you in advance

Hello,

You should have 2 short-cuts on your desktop top, within which to run the system. On MS Windows the TELEMAC system is operated through a DOS terminal.

Thank you for your quick response
As I am new to this software, I am not quite sure how to open the program
Bellow I send you a screenshot from my start menu:

I would really appreciate if you can give me more detail information about running it

Thanks

Hi Stavros,

The folders in the start Menu are empty. But if you go in C:\opentelemac-mascaret\, folders are not empty.

Like Sebastien said, you should have Telemac shortcuts created on your Desktop. To run Telemac you need to double click on that shortcut and then launch command lines from there.

For example, if you want to run the test case called bumpflu, below are the step you should follow:

1. Double click on the Telemac shortcut
2. Type and launch the following command line
cd examples\telemac2d\bumpflu
3. Type and launch the following command line
telemac2d.py t2d_bumpflu.cas

Finally, I suggest you download and read the user manual to get familiar with the software (www.opentelemac.org/index.php/validation...-user-manual-en-v6p2)

Hope this helps,
Juliette
